He angrily tells Mr. Peanutbutter that he did all the work, and kicks him out of the theme park. When Diane tries to tell Mr. Peanutbutter and wonders if it's about her abortion, Mr. Peanutbutter assures her Captain Peanutbutter is probably just joking around with her. Eventually, he goes back to the upstairs bedroom not noticing BoJack, Ruthie, Princess Carolyn or Diane, and asks Pickles if she wants whip cream with her drink, not realizing that Pickles was actually in the bathroom and wearing headphones. While their relationship seemed to be going well at the start, it soon took on a rather toxic dynamic and Diane realized her marriage to Mr. Peanutbutter wasn't meeting her expectations. Mr. Peanutbutter got to meet Hank at the after-party, excitedly tells Hank how much of a fan he is and how Hank inspired him as a kid, and he got a picture with him. Later, at Elefante, Mr. Peanutbutter tells Pickles he needs to talk to her, which upsets her, but she assures him whatever happensshe wont stop loving him. They are setting up shop at BoJacks house, because of there being no room at Mr. Peanutbutters house, as its filled with spaghetti strainers. Diane wants to leave but is her car is trapped between two vehicles. The wedding is then decided to be held at the restaurant BoJack owns on BoJack's suggestion so he has a better vantage to sabotage the wedding. Pickles reconciles with Mr. Peanutbutter, and Diane leaves, saying she's gonna take someone's helicopter home-seeing that she is unable to reach her car. He tries to get to her before she can see BoJack but fails. After Sassy goes to bed, the real Fritz shows up and cocks his gun at Philbert, and then threatens to shoot Sassy. In his drug-induced hallucination BoJack walks through the set when he's once again transported to the empty set and golden staircase he saw earlier. Mr. Peanutbutter tells BoJack he sees Princess Carolyn a lot at Birthday Dad events. BoJack replies he's sure he'll find a way to mess things up. Mr. Peanutbutter then notices the entire kitchen set from Mr. Peanutbutter's House. In between takes, Mr. Peanutbutter remarks how much fun they are having filming together. interrupting the party. Diane apologizes saying she didn't realize she was doing that. On the set of Birthday Dad, BoJack and Mr. Peanutbutter are filming a war scene and BoJack is cast as a dead soldier. She says it's because she auditioned for The Mummy movie for the role of the mummy with Brendan Fraserand didn't get the part. Mr. Peanutbutter says he wants them to be even somehow. She started out as fun and cheerful and they were happily married. When BoJack is helping Diane move into her new apartment she invites him to come with her to Mr. Peanutbutter's housewarming party. Diane then calls Mr. Peanutbutter on the phone and he sounds excited to hear from her. His high energy, unpredictability, impulsiveness, and inability to actually listen makes him rather exhausting when it comes to relationships, especially here where romance is concerned. Mr. Peanutbutter tells Pickles to think of his family because they need him to be strong as his older brother Captain Peanutbutter confessed to him that he feels like hes in a loveless marriage with his wife. One reason the show has gained such a large, loyal following is because of how raw and relatable BoJack and his associates are. They hear a knock on the door, and Mr. Peanutbutter goes to answer, hoping it's pizza. Princess Carolyn meanwhile begins contacting a landscaper. However, his model helicopter crashed into the water tower, on the set of former VJ Downtown Julie Brown's new puppet show. Princess Carolyn approaches Mr. Peanutbutter and asks if it's just her or does seem that the cast and crew have really turned on him. This causes major changes to the script and film and begins to downplay BoJack's screen time and involvement. BoJack explains these are the clothes he went in with and didn't realize he would be going to a wedding in a year. Mr. Peanutbutter then takes BoJack to a store to buy him a suit. Mr. Peanutbutter tells her he has always tried to be an "us" with people. When they enter the house, Pickles tries to turn on the lights by yelling Lights On!," but before she can, Mr. Peanutbutter interrupts her and tells her that what hes about to confess is so shameful he can only do it under the cover of shadow. They hear the doorbell ring. Diane says that she isn't ruined, and he says that his problem is that he doesn't listen. She asks if they can plan the wedding when she comes back and he sadly tells her sure they can as it sounds like a good compromise. Mr. Peanutbutter assures her he'll never leave her alone again, but Katrina storms off saying she wants to be alone now and tells him to have fun with his hippie liberal friends. Mr. Peanutbutter questions if he thought Princess Carolyn would marry BoJack. He can be very headstrong and heavily opinionated at times especially in a heated argument to the point of being borderline defensive. Mr. Peanutbutter naively believes Todd is actually there to apply to be his personal driver and hires Todd after an impromptu interview. Diane gives her some water and tells her she understands that it's hard to be the new girlfriend. Mr. Peanutbutter then asks her if she likes Chicago and considers herself a Chicagoan. They initially met in the 2007 flashback episode, I assume they began a relationship just after that considering the moment in season 5 when Diane is talking to Pickles about how PB loves with his whole heart she explicitly mentions him loving her that way for over a decade, so from 2007-2018. She agrees to go despite Mr. Peanutbutter wanting to just stay in. Pickles then thinks it over again. She's sad because she thinks things will go back to normal the next day. Mr. Peanutbutter ends up proposing to Pickles, instead of telling her the truth, setting the cycle of all his failed marriages back in motion. Besides his love for tennis balls, he hates the game tennis because he gets angry at how nobody ever catches the ball. Mr. Peanutbutter and a few crew members then pull BoJack off of her. Diane says she isn't happy and that helping people and making a difference with Sebastian St. Clair could give her a reason to get out of bed. Mr. Peanutbutter accepts, but Pickles decides to still go with him to the desertjust not as a date.
